Hi,
Although this blog & others I am associated with published the results provisionally at 14:30hrs. yesterday you will note that today even a further 24 hours later UKIP has not published its results on its web site to inform its members.
The actual result was a win for the NO vote, as we earlier stated:
Yes 2,535 (32.9%)
No 5,161 (67.1%)
Turn Out 49.2%
I am rather pleased at the accuracy of my public prediction last week that I expected around 7.1/2 thousand voters which would represent between 2/3rds. and 3/4 of the extant membership. This, as predicted turned out to be true with 7,696 votes cast.
We were however wrong in our predictions not realising just how large an effect the internet has had on the event, but it is now clear that as a result of the various blogs informing people of the lies of Mick McGough in support of the yes campaign:
From Steve Allison
From steve allisonAlso the reprehensible comments of Stuart Agnew informing his audience that effectively he didn't care what the outcome of the vote would be he was going to join a PEPP regardless as he could make more money and that Godfrey Bloom had already joined one in the certain knowledge that the membership, at the party conference, had resoundingly rejected the scam.

Stuart,
I have received a complaint regarding the video.
Specifically the complaint refers to the claim by Mick McGough that he "has in his hand a cheque for £300,000 payable to UKIP"
The No campaign claim the money CANNOT be paid to UKIP.
Can you please confirm that the claim that the money can be paid from a PEP direct to UKIP is accurate.
If you cannot confirm this is a factually accurate statement then I must ask for the video to be withdrawn until a suitable correction of fact can be made.
Steve Allison
Vice Chairman UKIP.
I was wrong on my prediction that it would be a close run thing with maybe as little as 2% either way in the result - I really didn't realise just how much influence the truth would have on the members, you only need to read the in house Farage Fanzine The Independence Magazine to realise that was not where they were accessing the truth.
Clearly the activists and the 'armchair vote' alike have been keeping themselves aware of the dishonesty of the leadership via the blogs.
I guess we should not be as surprised as Mick McGough is not the only one who has made it very clear that he is a regular reader of both Junius and UKIP-vs-EUkip blogs on which he frequently comments and quotes, he even posts himself occasionally.
I guess all that leaves me to say to our regular readers and followers - Thank You for this little personal triumph in the efforts to Clean-Up UKIP to make it a party that ethical informed individuals may one day be willing to vote for to Leave-The-EU.
Let us hope that Farage and his parasites clinging on like maggots on a corpse realise their scam is dead in the water and rapidly withdraw from membership of the extremist, racist, anti Jewish and vile Pan EU Political Party EFD Group.
As soon as Farage is willing to forgo the extra income he makes and UKIP MEPs can be permitted to act in the interest of the electorate and Britain with control of their own 400 budget (formerly 4000 budget), their own travel allowances and staffing budgets and represent Britain in their own right on committees and 'missions' rather than have the allocation of travel and committees used as bribes to buy in members to the group to boost the group leaders income and personal control.
Enough of personality politics it has proved divisive and an abject failure for UKIP - where the leadership seemingly have utterly lost sight of the aim, which was to actively campaign to inform on the details of the damage done to Britain by membership of The EU, divise an exit and survival strategy and actively campaign to fulfil that strategy - NOT as a scam for self enrichment and Isle of Mann bank accounts and posturing on the gravy train with their snouts in the trough.
