CONSIDER AESOP The Lion & The Fox:

The EU was failing and was corrupt. So they pretended to be handing out money, which was just a ruse to make the greedy come to help progress their scam, but the strings attached were binding if hard to see.
The EUroRealists also came to see the offer, but didn't join a PEPP wishing to deal with The EU from outside its political clutches.
The EU asked the EUroRealists why they didn't come in as it was so lavishly rewarded and comfortable living on bribes.
The EUroRealists replied, 'Because we can see the tracks of those going in, but they are destroyed and there are no tracks showing they survived.'

Other people's lives are lessons in how we can avoid danger: it is easy to enter the house of a powerful man, but once you are inside, it may already be too late to get out.

Hi,

I note The French are keeping quiet about it being NAPOLEON'S Birthday & last day for UKIP PEPP votes to arrive for fiddling Pan EU Political Parties will this be Farage's Waterloo whichever way the vote is counted!

With a probable vote of between 6.5 & 7.5K (around 2/3rds. of the participatory membership) he could find himself in a problematic position as UKIP has between 50 & 100 serious activists and around 500>600 activists in total.

Of these one would hope that around 60-70% would have the integrity to vote against helping The EU.

However the bulk of the voters won't have a clue what the issues are and will back Farage, as the only known face to all of them.

This I would hazard a guess will result in a vote in favour of accepting the bribes and further unaccountable enrichment for the leadership in return for helping The EU undermine patriotic national politics, by introducing Pan EU Political Parties.

The tottering state of the extremist EFD Group is surely indication enough of the difficulty for Farage, as The Italians now dominate the group and with the fall in numbers and the fact that the Dutch with Wilders want no part of The EFD, and the group is so tainted that even the Austrians are cooling to the idea, and thus the group will shrink by Christmas, which is the crucial date. Losing slushfunds/bribes and staffing.

I doubt any UKIP MEP will have the integrity to leave, but you never know Nattrass might; Coleman, Batten & Bufton just MIGHT develop back bones!

Andreasen is already on the verge as are Nattrass & Colman.

I do not believe that Sinclaire would accept ANY deal that put her back with the extremists and trash in The EFD - look how much more seriously the media have treated her as an Independent MEP, distanced from UKIP and outside of The EFD as non attached.

So if the vote goes in Farage's bank account's favour he stands to lose upto 5 MEPs though I concede that Sinclaire, Nattrass & Andreasen are the only ones likely to have the integrity to go, Colman MIGHT but neither Bufton or Batten have ever shown one wit of integrity, nor a shred of political aptitude, though to be fair Bufton does on occasions stand up to Farage but usually only in his own personal interest.

What if Farage loses?

That will mean he lost the debate at The Conference, was on the losing side over AV, had a catastrophic local elections, has lost several MEPs from the group, is likely to lose the goodwill and maybe the support of most of the activists and will have cost the party £10>15K on the vote - a vote whichever way it goes has been yet another long period of costly navel gazing which being close has split the party and the only notable supporters who spoke out were Stuart Agnew and Mick McGough both of whom have clearly proven track records as dishonest cheats and Mick McGough is a proven liar - would you want such scum on your side?

Either way the vote goes it has been damaging and divisive in a period when UKIP should have been concentrating on trying to clean up their act to TRY to make themselves credible and worthy of the votes of the informed.

It already looks, unless Farage can get his chums in the BNP, the Austrian extreme right and Vlaams into The EFD he will find he not only loses control to the Italians but also loses funding, staff and even perhaps his London Office in The EU building at Smith Square.

Farage's position looks, whichever way the vote goes, is weaker than when he rejoined the party after he had meetings with The BNP when he was removed from UKIP by Alan Skedd.

There is no doubt that in terms of credibility and support in political terms the vote, and lies from the yes lobby have done huge damage to UKIP.

Whether UKIP can see howmuch damage has been done together with Annabelle Fuller's close association and position on the payrol particularly in view of her false accusations against a Tory MP and stealing his Blackberry and HoC Pass and the Bannerman debacle that was so predictable is another consideration.

Farage may well avoid his Waterloo as a result of the incredible disinterest in UKIP of the media and the moral indifference of UKIP's uninformed armchair vote.

The vote is scheduled to be counted at 09:00hrs. 16-Aug-2011 though based upon UKIP's track record of rigged votes it may well be, yet again, as Stalin so aptly said 'It doesn't matter how they vote but it matters how we count it'!

We will know which result was chosen at around lunchtime at a guess.

Regards,
Greg_L-W.. .
